I was delighted to visit Leicester’s Carers Centre as part of Carers week, which champions the needs of Britain’s 6.5 million unpaid family carers.
Speaking to the families at the Centre highlighted, once again, that we need to do much more to help families who are looking after elderly or disabled relatives. I also think we need to back voluntary organisations like Leicester’s Carers Centre, which provide really valuable information, advice and support. You can read more about Carers Week here.
