Today the Chancellor scrapped most of the measures announced in the Tories’ disastrous mini-budget last month in what is a humiliating U-turn for this Government.

My constituents and the rest of the country will pay a lasting price for the Tories ideological experiment and the economic chaos they have caused. The people who did this damage to Britain are not the ones to undo it. We need a change in government. And we need it now.
