Liz calls for action on child poverty

On Friday I spoke to BBC Radio Leicester about the terrible rates of child poverty in the city. This was after they interviewed the Headteacher of Braunstone Community Primary which is opening up its doors on an evening to provide a warm space and warm food to those that are struggling with bills.

Braunstone Community Primary are doing amazing work but the fact that this is needed in one of the richest countries in the world is a damming indictment of 13 years of economic failure from the Tories.
