Specialist Nurses make a huge difference by helping patients better manage their condition, and save the NHS money by reducing the number of times people have to go into hospital.

I’m backing the campaign for more Specialist Parkinson’s Nurses in Leicester. I recently met the Chief Executive of NHS Leicester City, who has now agreed to review the PCT’s decision not to go ahead with a Specialist Parksinon’s Nurse for the city and county.
