Liz publishes a chapter in ‘The Purple Book’

I have just published a chapter in ‘The Purple Book’, a document published by Progress which aims to set out ideas about a future agenda for the Labour Party.

My chapter is called “Putting families first: universal care from cradle to grave”. I argue that childcare, elderly care and time to care should be at the top of Labour’s future policy agenda. These are critical to helping families work and improve their living standards, to tackling poverty and inequality, and to helping meet the challenges of our ageing population.

You can order a copy of the whole book from Progress here.
