If you’re wondering what to do with the kids during the holidays, I’d really recommend the Mythical Maze summer reading challenge, which is taking place in libraries across the city. The aim of the challenge is to keep children reading over the summer holidays and have fun at the same time.
I popped into Beaumont Leys Library where children up to the age of 15 were reading and learning about fantastical creatures from legend and mythology.
It’s brilliant that our local libraries are supporting this initiative, which helps children keep up their reading skills and gives families a free activity over the summer break. Click here to find out when the Mythical Maze is coming to your local library.
