On Wednesday 15 October I spoke in a Parliamentary debate about how access to NHS care is getting worse under this Government.
More and more people are struggling to get an appointment with a GP, hospital A&Es have missed the 4 hour waiting target for 63 weeks in a row, and delayed discharges from hospital are at a record high. More than 3 million people are now on the waiting list, the 18 week maximum wait target has been missed for the last 2 months in a row, and the NHS has missed the 62 day wait to start cancer treatment for the first time ever.
Labour has a fully funded plan to restore care standards, and reform NHS and social care services so they are fit for the future. You can read my speech here.
