On Tuesday 6th January I appeared on the BBC’s Daily Politics to discuss the huge pressures on accident and emergency departments across the country.
A&Es now have the worst waiting times in a decade. Last month in Leicester, 2,500 patients had to wait more than four hours before they were seen. This isn’t good enough: the Government needs to get a grip, with a proper plan to get the NHS back on track. You can read more here.
