The fantastic Robert Hall Community Church plays a really active role within the local Westcotes community. I recently joined the Church to launch their Thursday Club, a new initiative to bring older people together so that they can meet their neighbours over a lovely cuppa and homemade cake.

A group of committed volunteers led by Pam Bryan, the Minister at Robert Hall, set the club up because they were worried about older people not having enough opportunities to get out and meet new people. It runs every Thursday between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. I think this is a lovely initiative, which gets my full support. I certainly enjoyed my visit and would recommend others to pop in.
