On 24 March I represented Labour at the Citizens UK election rally in Nottingham, where I outlined Labour’s plans for social care. A Labour government will be on the side of care workers, calling time on 15 minute care visits, ensuring they are paid for travel time, ensuring proper training and a clear path for career progression, and championing the living wage. Citizens UK has been doing fantastic work on this. We need a Labour government that will stand up for care workers too.
