On Wednesday 16th November I confronted Jeremy Hunt on the funding crisis in social care. Leicester City Council has been forced to make a further £55 million of cuts on top of the £100 million it has already made, meaning vital local services have had to be cut. We need a cross-party agreement on this long-term issue but this will not happen until the Government admits there is a problem. You can watch my intervention here, or read the full debate here.
