Normally, I have to be in Parliament to vote between Monday and Thursday, but a short recess recently gave me the opportunity to do things in the week which I unfortunately normally have to miss.

One of these was a quick visit to the Welcome Club, which takes place every Wednesday afternoon at the Tudor Centre in Mowmacre. The club puts on activities such as Bingo and brings older people together to enjoy each other’s company. All are welcome and if you’d like to know more, you can call 0116 221 1771.
