At the latest meeting of my Leicester West Business Forum, we discussed how to help Leicester firms access the finance they need to grow and succeed. All the major banks came along as well as a number of other funding organisations.

If you run a small business, Leicester City Council can offer local support with grants and advice and there are a number of regional programmes administered by the Leicester and Leicestershire Economic Partnership too (there are currently grants available for between £1,000 to £1 million).  You can find out more at a free breakfast event at Leicester Tigers Rugby Club on Tuesday 20th May, details of which can be found here.
