I recently met with Verity Hancock, the Principal of Leicester College to discuss the impact of the latest round of Government spending cuts.
Leicester College is one of the largest colleges in the UK, offering a wide range of courses from Apprenticeships and A levels to Higher National Diplomas.
I have always been a strong champion of further education, because learning shouldn’t stop at school. I will be raising the issues Verity and I discussed with ministers and in parliament and continue to do all I can to ensure my constituents get the opportunities they need to learn and get skills throughout their lives.
