I recently took part in Mowmacre Hill Primary School‘s “aspirations week” by joining a group of 30 children between the ages of 7 and 11, on a tour of Leicester Town Hall. We discussed my job as their MP and what they want to be when they grow up.

Mowmacre Hill did a terrific job at putting on a range of activities to open children’s minds to the opportunities that exist if they work hard and I was delighted to offer my encouragement.  Boosting aspiration is a key priority for me and I’ll be doing everything I can to help each child in Leicester West achieve their full potential.
