Backing unpaid family carers

Dementia debate 20th June 2013

On Thursday 20th June I spoke in a House of Commons debate on Britain’s 6.5 million unpaid carers. My speech included some practical measures that would help identify the many ‘hidden’ carers; improve information, advice and support for carers; and ensure carers can stay in paid work whilst still looking after their loved ones.
