With only weeks to go before a final decision is due on the future of children’s heart surgery services, I am doing everything I can to keep up the pressure in our campaign to save Glenfield.
I have been pressing the Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt to release crucial information from the Central Cardiac Audit Database (CCAD), so that the final decision about children’s heart surgery services can be based on a full analysis of children’s survival rates at the 10 existing paediatric cardiac units in England.
