Campaigning for our NHS

A group of mums from Darlington are so concerned by this government’s failure on the NHS, they’re leading “The People’s March for the NHS”, which will follow in the famous footsteps of the Jarrow Crusade.

The marchers will cover 300 miles, through 23 towns and cities all the way to Parliament.

This Saturday, 30th August, they’ll arrive in Leicester, where I’ll be one of the speakers welcoming them at a rally.

You’re warmly invited to join us:
Time: 5:15pm
Date: Saturday 30th August 2014
Location: Town Hall Square, City Centre

To welcome the march to Leicester, over 100 Labour MPs, Councillors, members, supporters and campaigners have published a letter of support, which you can read here. You can also read coverage of the march in the Leicester Mercury here
