On Saturday I went to Braunstone Carnival at Fullhurst School, along with hundreds of my constituents.

There were some great performances from local dancers, keep fit demonstrations, and Street Vibe were on hand with a youth pod to demonstrate the fantastic work that they do.

I was also really pleased to see the local Bookbus, Sure Start and Change 4 Life teams at the carnival, handing out information about the services they provide.

I and members of my team also had the chance to talk to local residents, who raised a number of individual issues and concerns, which I’ll be taking up on their behalf.
