The referendum on Britain’s membership of the European Union is the biggest decision we face in a generation. It will define the future of our country: our economy, the jobs and investment we attract, our safety and influence in the world. More than anyone, it is Britain’s young people who will be affected by the decision we take on June 23rd. It is their jobs and their future that will be on the ballot paper.
I want to make sure that young women’s views are heard loud and clear in a debate that has so far been dominated by men. I’ve therefore invited Priti Patel MP, from the Leave campaign, to debate me on the EU, and you can find the Guardian’s coverage of this here.
