Babington Community College was one of the first schools to be awarded with a Discovering Democracy Award by the British Youth Council. The new award is presented to schools that encourage pupils to take an interest in democracy and having their say in society. I was absolutely delighted to present the award and hope to see the school continue with the great work they’ve been doing.
