On 12th November I had the pleasure of meeting a group of young students from Fullhurst Community College. They were visiting London as part of their psychology class – for most of them it was the first trip to the capital, and I was really pleased to be able to organise a tour of Parliament for them.
After the tour talked about what the students would like to do when they leave school – it was great to hear about their ambitions which ranged from becoming a scientist to practising as a drama therapist. I was especially pleased to hear one of the girls is keen to become an MP, and I suggested she comes back to London to get some work experience shadowing me during a typical day’s work.
