I recently attended a fantastic open event run by Leicester City Council’s Health Through Warmth team to promote winter safety at Home Farm in Beaumont Leys. Like much of the UK, Leicester has been hit by some dreadful weather over the past few weeks, so it is really important that local residents know what help is available to them to stay warm in this cold period.

There were lots of stalls offering a range of advice and services on issues like how to manage debt and make your home more energy efficient.
