Helping people stay fit and active – whatever their age

DSCF5627

Belgrave Bowling Club was established in 1897 and has been on the same site in my constituency ever since. Bowling is a great way for people to socialise and stay active, from their teens and twenties right through into their 70s, 80s and even 90s. The club is currently recruiting new members and running introductory sessions on a Monday evening at 6pm. These sessions only cost £1, so if you’re interested in finding out more please call 0116 266 1028.

I also visited Belgrave Rugby Club, which is looking to increase the number of pitches they have so they can provide more coaching and training for children’s rugby. I think its great that there’s growing demand for boys and girls rugby in the city. I’m backing the Club’s plans to expand as I think its essential to provide more things for children to do and help our young people get fit and healthy.
