I met a group of young people at Beaumont Lodge Neighbourhood Association this week. They told me about a project they’ve been doing, learning about fair trade both here in the UK and in other countries.

We also talked about their hopes for the future and what they want to do when they’re older – whether that’s being a chef, a fashion designer, car mechanic, beautician, artist, musician or freelance photographer.

We’re planning a trip for them to come and visit me in Parliament sometime later this year. Maybe one of these great young people will be a future MP for Leicester West!
