Liz asks Government to take action on single-use plastics in schools

Remember that if you’ve taken part in the #BigPlasticCount, today is the last day to submit your results! https://thebigplasticcount.com/
Liz’s MP representative Sarah Russell recently met pupils at Mowmacre Hill Primary School, who told her about steps they’re taking to cut down on single use plastics, including the plastic drinking straws they receive every day with their milk.
Sarah was really impressed at how passionate the Mowmacre pupils are about protecting our environment, and Liz’s team has contacted the The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to ask what action is being taken to phase out plastic drinking straws in schools as soon as possible.
