On Wednesday 15th January I had the great pleasure, and honour, of hosting an event in Parliament to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of 4Children.
4Children is a brilliant national charity that campaigns to ensure the needs of children and families are at the top of the political and policy agenda. They also run Children’s Centres and family and youth services across Britain.
At the event, 4Children launched their manifesto “Making Britain Great for Children and Families“. This calls for a national overhaul of Britain’s public services and neighbourhoods to support families and prevent crisis. I think the manifesto includes some excellent ideas and proposals, which I want to help promote here in Leicester and nationally
