October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and earlier this week I joined an event to help raise money for breast cancer research, and increase awareness of this devastating disease.
Every year in the UK around 50,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer, and almost 1 in 4 of them die of it – that’s one person every 10 minutes. Charities like Breast Cancer Campaign do fantastic work to provide support for patients and their families, and to fund research which we all hope will one day lead to a cure.
If you would like to help fundraise to support this lifesaving research, or learn more about breast cancer, please visit Breast Cancer Campaign’s website, which you can find here.
