I recently went to the Mark Group to meet some of their newest employees, who were recruited following my latest Jobs Fair in Beaumont Leys. They told me that they’d been trying to find the right role and that my Jobs Fair had given them the break they really needed.

I’ll continue to hold Jobs Fair across Leicester West, as they are a practical way of helping local people get work right now. I’m also continue to campaign for the national policies we need to help reduce unemployment and ensure people have the right skills and qualifications, including Labour’s compulsory jobs guarantee and our proposals to increase high quality apprenticeships.
