On Monday 23rd June I had the pleasure of meeting with students from De Montfort University who came to Parliament to present politicians with their pioneering policy document “100 Ideas to Change Britain”.
The students have spent the last six months coming up with policy ideas that they want the political parties to adopt in their next General Election manifestos. I was really pleased to discuss their ideas with them, and proud to see how passionate they are about improving their lives and the world around them. I will make sure their voices are heard by discussing their policies with my colleagues in Parliament and relevant ministers, as well as with local businesses and the council in Leicester.
