On 8th December I attended an event at the House of Commons to meet Richard Foster, The Royal British Legion’s County Manager for Leicestershire, Rutland, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire, and to learn more about the range of services the Royal British Legion provides in our area.
The Royal British Legion does an excellent job supporting members of the British Armed Forces and their families, both in Leicester and nationally. I know the work they do is appreciated not only by me, but by many of my constituents too. I am very pleased to have had the opportunity to speak to Mr Foster and pledge my support for the Legion.
