\I know that many of my constituents are deeply concerned about the Council’s current proposals to develop authorised gypsy and traveller sites at Greengate Lane, Beaumont Way and Red Hill Way.

Given the strength and depth of feeling and the questions and objections that have been raised about the proposed sites, I am strongly urging the Council to reconsider its proposals. I do not believe that the current plans provide a comprehensive, city-wide solution for what I have always believed is a city-wide problem.
