On Tuesday 8th October I gave a speech on ‘Whole Person Care and Disabled People’ at an event hosted by Scope and the Fabian Society.
Fully integrating physical, mental and social care is essential to improving the lives of disabled people and their families and getting better value for public money. Services and support must also become more personalised and give people greater say and control, so they can become genuine partners in shaping their care.
