I want to pay tribute to the Mead Educational Trust and Leicester’s Career Hub for their vital work supporting young people in Leicester to realise their potential and gain confidence in themselves and the workplace.

It was inspiring to hear from local students about their desire to get into work and get on in work.

One of my top priorities nationally is getting Britain working again, and I’m so proud to see the community in Leicester working to support young people in this ambition.
