The John O’Gaunt, on the Stadium Estate, is a large and popular local pub with a car park and outdoor seating area. Developers have applied for planning permission to demolish some of the pub and use its grounds as a site for housing.  The local community are very concerned by these proposals and I’ll be working with them to ensure their voices are heard. I’ve already received over 100 responses to a community survey I’ve been carrying out and I’ll be compiling a report for the Council’s Planning Control Committee.
