Nearly £80m was raised this Red Nose Day – taking the total amount raised by Comic Relief to more than £1billion. I’m so proud that so many across Leicester West played their part to raise funds that transform the lives of millions of people, both at home in the UK and across Africa.
I dropped in on the fantastic Ur Choice youth club in Home Farm, Beaumont Leys, as they were preparing for a cake sale.
