Developers have recently submitted plans to demolish part of the popular John O Gaunt pub on Somerset Avenue to make room for six new houses. I wanted to make sure the views of my constituents were heard and wrote to over 600 households. Of the 117 responses I received, the majority were opposed to the plans. I’ve now compiled a report to the Council’s Planning Department on the feedback from residents.
