I recently opened a new digital classroom at Braunstone Frith Primary School. The project is backed by Samsung, who have provided a range of state-of-the-art technology including 30 tablets, 10 Chromebooks, and a 75 inch interactive whiteboard with touch screen capability.
During my visit I met Ellie and Julia from New Parks who told me about learning to blog and why reading and writing are so important. Parents are also encouraged to get involved with workshops specifically designed for them.
Initiatives like this really engage children and help equip them with the skills they need for the future. That’s why they get my full backing and support.
