On Friday 13th May, I attended the launch of Community Advice and Law Service’s (CALS) new Benefit Welfare Advice Service. The new service has been funded by The Severn Trent Trust Fund to help CALS provide free specialist advice on welfare benefits and support with appeals. This has come at a time where many of my constituents have been hit hard by the Government’s welfare reforms and will really help people in Leicester to get the support they need.
