I’m delighted that Serina Leeanne has won the TalkTalk Digital Heros East Midlands award.

Serina is a true community hero in New Parks through her work running the New Parks Community Boxing Gym, and the website she has set up to help bring the community together, which is the project that she won the TalkTalk award for.

Voted top in the East Midlands in a public vote, Serina secured a prize of £5000 that will be used to support and develop the website to provide an online hub of information and news for the New Parks area.
