On 6 April Liam Byrne, shadow minister for universities, science and skills, and I guest-edited LabourList on the topic of technology. We looked at how we can make the most of advances in technology, using it to bring about profound social and economic change. It’s vital that everyone has the skills they need to benefit from the digital age, that we use technology to create more and better jobs spread across all regions, and that we use it to give people more power over their public services.
