It was a huge honour to be re-elected as your MP. Thank you to all who gave me your trust. To everyone who decided differently, or stayed at home, I respect your choice and I know my job is to help every single constituent the best I can.

Labour needs to listen and to learn the lessons following our very disappointing national defeat in the election. That’s why I’m putting myself forward for the leadership of the Labour Party.
