I am extremely disappointed that the planning committee approved the application to allow part of the John O’Gaunt pub to be demolished to build six houses.

The application was met by strong and overwhelming opposition by the local community and from people further afield who use the pub for community activities. The John O’Gaunt is at the heart of the local community and I will do everything I can to continue to support the pub going forward. You can read more about this story here
