Thousands in hospital needlessly as district nurses are cut

NHS figures show drastic cuts to the number of district nurses in England.

Almost 1 in 5 district nurses have been cut since May 2010. It costs the NHS £6million a month as patients are delayed from leaving hospital due to a lack of support in the community.
