Last week I gave a speech at the Institute for Public Policy Research about reforming care and support for older people. We need to tackle the immediate and growing care crisis, and develop a better, fairer system for the future. This is vital to help older people and their families – on middle as well as low incomes – and crucial to the future sustainability of the public finances.
