Liz recently met Paul Clark MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Transport, to discuss the Government’s announcement of a new high speed rail network.

Liz said “I welcome Labour’s commitment to a new high speed rail network, which will be good for jobs, good for passengers and good for the environment.

“I want to see the high speed rail link stop here in Leicester, so that people living in Leicester West – the constituency I’m campaigning to represent – can directly benefit from Labour’s continued investment in Britain’s economy and transport infrastructure.”
