I’m delighted, and honoured, to have been appointed Labour’s Shadow Minister for Care and Older People.
This is a hugely important issue that touches the lives of millions of families up and down the country, many of whom are worried about the future of care and support for older people under this Government.
I’m determined to speak up for the needs of older people, their carers and families, and to hold the Government to account for its actions.
