Achieving and Learning Together, is the motto of Ellesmere College – a special school for children with a range educational difficulties, which specialises in sport.

I recently visited the college for a tour of their amazing new facilities. The college has a new sensory room and fantastic outdoor spaces to help cater to the needs of each and every one of their students. Ellesmere College also offers its space to the wider community, like the Guru Nanak Gudwara Ladies Football Club, which uses the colleges new football pitch to train on.

The amazing developments at Ellesmere show that when we make the most of local facilities we can get the best for our whole community.
