On Friday 29th April I visited Shaftesbury Junior School to join in with their ‘Backing the Blues’ day in support of Leicester City Football Club. I also met with the School Council to talk about my role as an MP.
I’m so proud of the Foxes, their fans and how our whole city has been behind them. I really hope their amazing win will inspire lots more young people in Leicester to take up sport and show them that with determination, hard work and a great team spirit your dreams really can come true.
