Today King Charles announced Labour’s legislative programme for the next year in Parliament. 

After fourteen years of people in Leicester being let down by Tory failure, it was inspiring to hear a King’s Speech focussed on creating wealth for Leicester, and improving the living standards of local working people.

We’re bringing forward new laws to help:

• Create wealth in every community  
• Build houses and infrastructure  
• Improve transport and create more jobs  
• Secure clean energy
